Hydraulic Service Technician

B&S Hydraulics is looking for a competent Hydraulic Service Technician to join our growing team.

We provide installation, design, maintenance and repair on Hydraulic components and systems across various industries such as Mine, Rail and Agriculture. As an industry leader we pride ourselves on our team of Hydraulic Service Technicians based in Brisbane. We are looking for motivated people who have a passion for Hydraulics to join our growing team

Qualified Service Technician with experience in pumps, motors, cylinders and hydraulic systems. Knowledge of hydraulics components, hose and fittings.
Trouble shooting and onsite maintenance experience.
Ability to interpret hydraulic circuits beneficial
Current drivers licence,
Available to work overtime and occasional travel.
Attractive package including Service Vehicle and Phone for the right candidate.
Full time as part of a dynamic team with the focus on technical service, product training and development.
Close to Brisbane Airport and Gateway Motorway.
Minimum Trade Qualified with a current drivers licence.
Any worksite or safety certifications beneficial.
Honest and motivated with good communication skills both verbally and written.

We are looking for a Trade Assistant for our busy Hydraulic Workshop to assist our Technicians in general workshop duties.

Assisting in component/machine strip down and rebuild
General Workshop Cleaning and Maintenance
Painting and Packing
Overtime and Travel maybe required
Full time Position with Immediate start
Wages Paid Weekly
Supportive Team Environment
Possibility of an Apprenticeship for the suitable candidate who displays a keen interest in Hydraulics.
Basic workshop experience beneficial
Current manual license and own transport to get to and from work.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Manufacture new chrome rod assemblies
Manufacture new cylinder barrels
Manufacture new gland and piston components
Repair and modify hydraulic components old and new
Carry out tube work with tig welding
Carry out manual mig welding and rotator welding.

Skills and Experience

Trade Qualified Fitter Machinist
Manual lathe experience 1m to 3m
Mig and Tig welding experience
Experience with machinery/equipment
Current Driver’s License
